Native to Africa and the Middle East, Myrrh is derived from the resin of the
Commiphora tree, a substance once valued as highly as gold and used in traditional medicine, rituals, and perfumery for thousands of years.

Our Myrrh comes from Puntland, Somalia. Unfortunately, the areas where Myrrh is grown are very well known for not practising sustainable farming or treating their workers fairly. To combat this, we made it our job to fi nd the most sustainable, fair trade product to extract. This means that the Myrrh we provide has been farmed by workers who are treated well and paid a fair wage, the grounds it is grown on aren’t being over-farmed, and the product can be traced from planting to produce.

Today, Myrrh continues to be cherished for its health properties. Its warm, resinous aroma and deeply grounding properties make it a valuable addition to modern wellness and skincare routines alike.

Our Myrrh Extract has a deep ruby red to burgundy colour with a resinous aroma, with a biblical incense smell. It can be enjoyed by lighting the resin, using in a wax melt or other aromatherapy practices.
